Now, windows makers have requested for patenting the Fat file system.We share files b/w Linux and Windows thru FAT file system.If it gets patented,linus may end up paying a huge royalty for the FAT !!!!<br />And to keep in mind the universal rule, anything which has monetary involvements cannot be distributed under <a href="http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/gpl.html">General Public License</a> !!!
